Oppo A38 with a Sleek Design & Unbeatable Prices Available at Techroid

When you are looking for decent, well-performing phones with good cameras, Oppo comes to mind. The company has undoubtedly invested in its camera, which gives clean, bright, and quality pictures or video recordings. At the same time, there are a few compromises on the performance side in most of its models.

Another high-end model, Oppo A38, hit the market and was in demand for its features as well. If you are always considering investing in a phone for a decent price, you can check out Techroid, which offers the best prices. At the same time, it’s essential to look into the details of the phone to determine whether it’s a good buy or not. Here, we have an Oppo A38 review for you to check out the device.

Our Review Highlights

In our effort to bring you the ultimate hands-on experience review of Oppo A38, we came up with some significant findings. Our tech experts used the phone at its best and in almost every condition to evaluate how it behaves and how it reflects the quality of user experience.

What’s Hot? What’s Not?
IPS display with wide view angle Processor can be slower during multitasking
6.56-inch display with clear presentation Miss NFC or FM radio
Clear and sharp camera quality Somehow pricey comparing to its competitors
Enough storage space to add more files or apps
Sleek design that looks expensive
Solid metallic finish body
Bigger battery for non-stop usage

Look & Feel of Oppo A38

One thing that attracts us to the Oppo A38 is its style and design. It’s trendy and makes a stylish statement, giving you a sleek and premium vibe. The device’s ultra-slim profile is aesthetically created to give a modern feel. It’s completely functional, with its curves and camera bump as well.

The phone’s build is sturdy and strong, and you do not feel it compromised at all. The glass finish and clean presentation make it attractive by default. Plus, the 6.56-inch LCD display is large enough to provide a smooth user experience. It’s clear and makes using the device smooth.

Software & Performance In-Hand

Oppo A38 is packed with a MediaTek Helio P35 Octa-core chipset, which is suitable and performs independently. However, you cannot compare it with other high-end processes. Still, the clock rate of 2.3GHz seems reasonable enough to allow you to browse social media and run productivity apps. Supported with 4GB RAM, the processor is sufficient to multitask, but you cannot expect too much from a 4GB RAM at all. It will be responsive for operations but does not offer you a high-end processor experience.

On the storage side, you will have 128GB of internal storage that is expandable using a microSD card whenever you need it. However, the storage space is decent enough for light and moderate smartphone users to give you a good deal.

The Oppo A38 operates on ColorOS, the brand’s custom Android OS version. It is overall user-friendly and convenient and comes with immense customization. You can have features like dark mode, gesture navigation, app cloning, and much more. Oppo offers regular security patches and performance enhancements over time.

Camera Clicks & Quality

Having an f/1.8 aperture in a phone’s camera with a main 50MP lens seems like a nice fit. It gives you the power to click smoother, clearer pictures with more depth. Even in low light, the camera works really well. We found the camera to be an attraction in the device, with a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP front camera coming with an f/2.2 aperture. Not just the main camera but also the selfie camera is good for giving you quality pictures.

From portraits to scenario landscapes, the camera is good for almost every kind of picture. Additionally, we loved the camera’s result for a high-quality 1080p video recording. The 30fps makes the videos even smoother and gives a nice flow of events. You will really love the device’s camera performance.

Battery & Backup!

Looking at its sleek and slim body, a 5,000mAh battery sounds massive but valuable. When you have multiple options and features, a good battery allows you to utilise them at their best. Supporting fast charging, it takes only 30 minutes to charge from 0% to 50%, so you can have the device ready to use whenever you need it.

Overall, the battery is good enough to last about a day, but it depends on your frequency of device usage. For a heavy user, the battery may not last too long; however, for the moderate to light user, it can work even longer than 24 hours.

Our Verdict

The Oppo A38 seems like a good phone to fit on its own. The features and build are compatible, giving you a decent experience. However, you cannot expect it to be faster, bigger, or better than any competitor in the same price range.

We did not find the Oppo A38 a suitable option or value-for-money device in Pakistan. The Oppo A38 price in Pakistan seems higher than the features it offers. On the other hand, you can find many other options to invest in a similar price range. Plus, the features don’t sound reliable and efficient on their own, as the device has its own worn-out time.

Is Oppo A38 Price in Pakistan Justified?

After reviewing all the features, specs, and performance of the device, we can say that it’s a good device for moderate use. On the performance side, it does have a few lags, which you definitely will not like. However, on the pricing side, we did not find the price of Oppo A38 in Pakistan justified for the features it offers.

Compared to the competitors in the market, you can find many suitable and high-performing options even at a better price. If you are looking for a decent Android, the Xiaomi Redmi 13 price in Pakistan is a better competitor for the Oppo A38. The phone features 8GB of RAM with 128/256GB of storage. You can check out the fantastic smartphone prices at Techroid and the many other smartphone options. Buy the best and wisest to make a legitimate investment that matters.
